Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Logistics and Warehousing
Runs the general stores, dangerous goods store and bulk fuel installation at Wodonga, receives and issues stock against authorised demands, and provides field refuelling and road transport support to the other sites and to customer exercises.
Explosive Ordnance Services
Operates the licensed explosive storehouses and maintenance workshops at Wide Bay, receives and inspects ordnance, monitors storage conditions, performs external maintenance and packaging refurbishment, and keeps the lot level stock register that the customer relies on.
Simulator and Technical Maintenance
Maintains eleven flight, vehicle and gunnery simulators at Oakey on a preventive schedule, restores failed systems to service within contracted response times, and plans and conducts in-service testing and test and evaluation activities for the customer.
Range and Training Area Support
Supports the range control staff on two training areas by coordinating bookings, inspecting ranges before and after use, supervising contractors, monitoring environmental controls and keeping the range standing orders current.
Contracts and Finance
Administers the performance based contracts the business holds, tracks every deliverable against its due date and measure, processes purchase orders and invoices, prepares monthly cost and performance reports and supports the annual audit.
Safety, Security and Compliance
Owns the integrated management system, the WHS and security programs, personnel clearances, incident investigation, internal audit and the training and competency register, and advises every site on risk controls and licence conditions.
